I was just trying to buy some software, but my payment got blocked for “fraud prevention” with no real explanation. Then they started asking me for extra information, which felt more sketchy than secure. Support took forever to respond, and when they did, it was basically the same canned message over and over. On top of that, the tone made me feel like I was being talked down to, like I should just accept it without asking questions. Really frustrating experience.

I tried to cancel my subscription and it was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. The subscription settings are a mess, and I ended up wasting time I had set aside for other plans. Really annoying experience

"Canceling and getting a refund was way harder than it should’ve been"
I’m not trying to be difficult, but canceling this was a mess. I followed the steps and expected it to be simple, and the refund still never showed up. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to be annoyed when you cancel something and then have to keep wondering where your money is.

I was bracing myself for a whole setup nightmare, but this was shockingly painless. The dashboard is super simple to figure out, and the integration with my store worked with barely any hassle. I was relieved beyond words!

I got charged through Avangate it threw me off a bit. The name on the charge wasn’t what I expected, so I ended up spending time trying to figure out what I had even paid for...
Maybe it was mentioned somewhere in the fine print, but it really should’ve been clearer before checkout. I don’t know, it just felt kind of sneaky, even if that wasn’t the intention..

"Payments work, but kinda hit or miss"
I’ve used Avangate a few times to pay for software, most of the time it’s been fine. The payment usually goes through, the confirmation email shows up quick, and the charge is easy enough to recognize on my statement.
That said, one payment got stuck for a bit and I had to just sit there waiting before the order finally completed. Not a huge deal or anything, but yeah, it was annoying. It works okay, but I wouldn’t exactly bet on it being fast every single time

"Support took way too long to get back to me"
I felt mentally drained dealing with support. I opened a ticket and then just waited for days without getting anything useful back, only the same generic response that didn’t really address what I said.
When someone finally did reply, it still didn’t solve the problem. It felt like they hadn’t even read my original message, so I had to go back and explain everything all over again.
For a payment company, that’s really frustrating. If something goes wrong with money involved, you need a quick and clear answer, not days of silence and copy-paste replies

I don’t think I’m being unreasonable here, but the payouts just never felt reliable to me. The settlement dates kept changing, and whenever I asked support, the answers were vague. I ended up having to chase down my own money way more than I should have, which isn’t okay. At this point, I just don’t feel like I can trust them anymore...
